Rev. Terumi Culmer

Rev. Terumi Culmer is passionate about serving others; so naturally it would be an honor to her to officiate your wedding ceremony!

Trained by Rev. Laura C. Cannon, Rev. Culmer is passionate about assisting couples in creating ceremonies that are reverent, sacred, and spiritual. Her ceremony style is compassionate and deeply present, bringing a grounding and heart-warming feel to each ceremony she performs. She supports couples by encouraging them to be fully present when they declare their love for one another in the presence of God, family and friends.

Her passion is to share with others that “marriage is sacred.” Rev. Culmer believes a spiritual love is a large part of what cultivates a sacred marriage. A sacred marriage involves both individuals to be selfless and loyal to the vows of their commitment, to also have a daily practice of creating intimacy and to love your partner’s inner beauty so a deeper bond of love is created in your partnership.

When she’s not officiating weddings she teaches and coaches others about this agape love and the sanctity of marriage. Through this devoted union, love can then serve the soul to grow spiritually as an individual and also as a couple.

While teaching about sacred marriage is her passion, she is also devoted to serving others as she coaches them to explore their own inner sanctuary. Through this journey the individual is awakened to loving what is sacred within themselves so they are available to love another. This is the self-work that prepares singles before they enter into a sacred marriage.

Rev. Culmer is studying Transformative Leadership and Social Change at Tai Sophia Institute and she will graduate the Summer of 2012. In her personal time she finds a great amount of joy spent with her husband Mark, and children, Maiah and LaTara. She also likes to see movies, read, paint and do yoga.
